Remote Acoustic Initiation Device (RAID, HARC) HARC consists of two main sub-systems — the surface deployed Transmitter system and the underwater Receiver system. The Transmitter equipment is lightweight, portable and designed for ease of deployment and operation from small surface vessels such as a Rigid Inflatable Boat. This equipment consists of a Control Unit, a Battery Supply Unit and a hydroacoustic dunking projector. The intuitive operator interface consists of a single front panel with embedded membrane switches, alphanumeric display and status LED that can be customised to meet specific operator requirements. The Receiver equipment consists of a DSP based hydroacoustic modem provided on single low power PCB and a small hydrophone designed for installation in and iintegration with an underwater host package. HARC has been extensively proven in the field with range reliability in excess of 10km, subject to environmental conditions. |

Alarm & Monitoring Systems The NMS6000 platform also offers vessel monitoring systems ranging from entry level Alarm and Monitoring Systems (AMS) to complete Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) for larger applications. These systems offer unlimited flexibility to interface to vessel systems such as bilge and ballast, cargo control and major machinery monitoring including propulsion and switchgear providing both monitoring and control capabilities. Integrated Power Management Systems (PMS) can also be incorporated for advanced power-plant control. System configurations can also be designed to meet demanding “Unmanned Engine Room” specifications for any regulatory body such as ABS and DNV. From small OSV systems to large drilling systems with more than 7,500 I/O points, the NMS6000 platform excels at providing simple user interfaces for safer vessel operation. NMS6000 AMS/VMS systems can be used in a wide range of applications from standard offshore support vessels (OSV’s) to large drilling assets and even in land-based applications. |

System 5000 V2 The stainless steel towfish incorporates two multi-channel acoustic arrays and a pressure bottle which houses all of the electronics and sensors necessary for sonar acquisition, altitude sensing, system control, and telemetry. The sonar and sensor data is transmitted up the towcable via a high speed digital telemetry link, requiring only a single coaxial or fiber-optic cable. The surface mounted Transceiver /Processor Unit receives the data, performs all necessary digital processing functions on this data, and relays control commands to the towfish. Processed data is then distributed to one or multiple PC Display and Control Units via a 100 Based T Ethernet LAN network where the tasks of data viewing, storage, and analysis can be accomplished. SonarPro Software is easy to use, intuitive, and very powerful taking full advantage of the 100 Based T Ethernet LAN network. This provides the very best in speed, data display and handling. The software was designed by sonar users for sonar users. |

NMS6000 Vessel Control System The NMS6000 is our 6th generation vessel control system. Instead of designing simply stand-alone systems, L-3 designed a simplified platform to provide multiple functions using a consistent user interface layout as well as common software and hardware. Employing modular “Commercial-Off-The-Shelf” (COTS) components, the NMS6000 offers unmatched flexibility and support. Using Type-Approved marine computers and displays combined with performance. Systems meet the requirements for approvals under each of the major regulatory bodies including American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, Bureau Veritas (BV) and all others. Each system employs the latest design techniques including dual redundant communication networks for increased system reliability.
