L-3 MariPro has been in the Goleta community for the past 45 years and employs approximately 70 people. MariPro is a leading provider of undersea cabled sensor systems for military, government and science applications, and has recently introduced proprietary through-water communications technology for use by the U.S. Navy. Since the early 1960s, MariPro has designed, manufactured and installed highly reliable, long-life underwater acoustic and electromagnetic sensor systems used by the world's navies for submarine training, tracking exercises and surveillance. MariPro also provides cabled seafloor observatories to support the ocean research community.

Daniel H. Chabot
Vice President of Business Operations
Mr. Chabot has over 35 years of management and engineering experience. Dan was a Vice President at SAIC and was the Deputy Operations Manager for SAIC/MariPro, an operation with three reporting divisions. As Deputy he was responsible for guidance and review of projects within the Operation and the financial administration of the Operation. More recently Dan was the Director of Range and Surveillance Programs for Nautronix MariPro. As Director, Dan was a member of the Management staff, had the responsibility for the execution of many programs and had several Program Managers reporting to him. Dan's experience includes being the Program Manager on a variety of maritime range and signal processing system programs. He has been the Program Manager on foreign military sales to Taiwan and Australia for the development, delivery and installation of range systems. He was the Program Manager for several of the training range programs for the US Navy including the ranges at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) and the Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE). He was also the Program Manager on four separate contracts over a six-year period for the design, manufacture and installation of individual hydroacoustic stations positioned in specific international locations for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).

Mr. Chabot is currently the Vice President of Business Operations for the L-3 MariPro Division and reports to Mr. John Fox, President of L-3 Ocean Systems.
